The ninth PQ was held in 1999 in the Industrial Palace at the Prague Exhibition Grounds.
45 countries took part in PQ 99: Argentina, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Belarus, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Chile, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hong Kong (China), Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Lithuania, Latvia, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, South Africa, Spain-Catalonia, Sweden, Switzerland, United States, Yugoslavia
The PQ 99 Golden Triga was awarded to the exposition from the Czech Republic.
