Section of Countries and Regions  

Section of Countries and Regions of the Prague Quadrennial 2015 will present work from 56 countries.

The curators were invited to be in dialogue with the main themes of the PQ 2015: SharedSpace Music Weather Politics - as proposed by Prague Quadrennial curators Aby Cohen (politics), Simon Banham (Weather) and Jiří Heřman (Music) - exploring these subjects in connection to contemporary theatre and scenography.

Performance design works created in the last six years are eligible to be presented in the expositions. The expositions themselves are competitive and eligible for Prague Quadrennial 2015 Awards.

The section will take place in the 6 main venues of the PQ 2015: Colloredo-Mansfeld Palace, Clam-Gallas Palace, The Prague Crossroads, Kafka´s House,The Topič Salon, Lapidarium of Bethlehem Chapel and piazeta of the National Theatre all walking distance from each other. Individual expositions are made in dialogue with and especially for these specific spaces. Many expositions in the section will take place in public spaces between the main venues.
