Additional information: He graduated from Kyoto University, currently teaches stage art in Osaka University.
He has been working predominantly for the New Drama Theatre and for the Theatre of Traditional Dance.
He is at work as designer of the Yomiuri Broadcasting. His artistic creation can be characterized as neorealistic. To his most important works belong sets to original dances and modern dramatic creation. He is a member of the Japan Stage and Television Artists Association.
In 1971, 1975, 1983, 1987, 1991 and 1995 he participated in the PQ.

Additional information: He graduated in 1953 from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tokyo. In his work he endeavours to combine purely scenic space with traditional Japanese forms of expression and materials. Among his foremost designs are those for the contemporary Japanese play The Head of the Virgin Mary by Chikao Tanaka, for Sartre' s The Condemned of Altona and for Shakespeare´s Hamlet, Macbeth and Othello. He is Associate Professor at the University in Musashino. He obtained a Theatrical Prize from the magazine Shukan Yomiuri, a National Art Festival Prize and a Prize of the Biennial in Paris. He is a member of JASTA and of OISTT. ). V roce 1963 obdržel Cenu na Bienále v Paříži. Vystavoval na PQ 1971, 1975, 1979, 1987, 1991, 1995.

Additional information: In 1965 entered the University of Fine Arts in Musashino. Between 1968 and 1970 he studied at the State College of Plastic and Graphic Arts in Berlin. In his work he tends to stage design being utilizable both in open-air settings and in theatre halls. He is a member of the J. A. D. C.

Additional information: Born in 1932 in Osaka. Set designer. Graduated from Osaka City University, College of Literature. Currently works as part-time lecturer in Osaka University of Arts, the Department of Stage Arts.
His most important designs are the sets for Wesker' s Chicken Soup with Barley, for M. Yamazaki´s Go-oh Fusa and for many others. He is a member of JASTA and of the OISTT.
He participated in PQ 1975, 1987, 1991.

Additional information: Set designer, collaborating with Asahi Television. She works mainly at opera in abstract style - such as Rusalka, Madam Butterfly and others. This is the same concept and style as dance performance. She participated in PQ 1987, 1991, 1995, 1999.

Additional information: Graduated from National English Opera Stage Design Course. He is a member of the Japanese Stage and Television Design Association. He cooperates as a stage designer with drama, opera and ballet theatres in Japan and abroad. In 1991 and 1995 he participated in the PQ.
