and now works as a project architect at the Giproteater
State Designing Institute in Moscow. He is a member of the Union
of Architects of the USSR and a member of its executive committee.
He is the author of many theatre building projects. He won a
Russian Socialist Federal Soviet Republic State Prize for his
project of the Tula Drama Theatre. He has also published nu -
merous papers and articles concerning theatrical architecture
and stage design.
