Swans

Additional information: Simona Rybáková is a graduate of the Academy of Applied Arts in Prague. She currently works as a freelance costume and textile designer. She chiefly collaborates with director Jiří Nekvasil and designer Daniel Dvořák at the State Opera Prague and with director Michal Caban on a wide range of theatre, film and multimedia projects. She has won the Daniel Swarowski Prize and Golden Medal of International Design Faire. She is a member of the OISTAT Executive and Scenography Committee. Text to the PQ'15 Catalogue: She was the Czech representative in OISTAT Executive Committee, and is currently the Czech delegate in the OISTAT Performance Design Committee and a member of the Costume Design Group. She is also a member of the European Film Academy. She won the PQ'99 Golden Triga, and in 2011 she was the curator of the Extreme Costumes exhibition at PQ'11. She creates costumes for theatre, television, film, dance, concerts, site specific projects and special events, as well as displaying her work in many different exhibitions around the world. Origami swan masks s for the Tribes project were specially designed and realized by Ondřej Cibulka and Evžen Dub.
