Date of creation: 1996 Frequency: Biennial Period of the year: November Duration: 05 or 08 days Festival site: Yaoundé – Douala (Cameroon) Next Edition: 07 to 14 November 2008 The African Theatre Festival for Children and Young People, or „FATEJ,“ has as its aim to create an atmosphere where theatre performances geared for children and youth could be developed and supported. But it also serves as an arena for African troups to come into contact with each other, and with the rest of the world. Through connecting with our peers from other cultures, we are truly building a „community theatre.“
