Uncle Nageeb’s Lane
The theme reflects the particular and unique trends in Egypt’s contemporary theater culture, as a perspective on today’s world. The author/director, who is also the primary performer, is criticizing hypocrisy and man’s inhumanity to man from the past to this bellicose present. Using the interaction between puppets and performers, he creates a dreamlike world of his own.
