The Importance of Being...

To be is to matter. We have chosen our theme to underline the importance of the individual and his ideas in the theatre process: Theatre as a mirror for society. Great things are given to us through honest participation. When passion and compassion drive the cooperative process of theatrical performance. Theatre is a small society where every individual has a great importance. Every person matters. Every individual has an important role in the creative team. In theatre the individual reflects his place in the world.

Specialization: set designer, costume designer
Additional information: Set and costume designer, collaborating as a freelance designer with theatres in Iceland, e.g. The National Theatre, The Reykjavík Theatre Company, the Drama School Theatre and Frú Emília-Theatre. As well he has been working as an artist with private and co-exhibition on paintings and sculptures. He participated in PQ 1987 and 1991.
