Let's play Bulgakov!

The Latvian Academy of Art stage design students enter Prague Quadrennial 2007 with their ideas and designs inspired by Mikhail Bulgakov’s great novel, Master and Margarita. This exciting, though quite difficult, theme was a challenge for the stage design students, giving them a chance to express their youthful ideals, imagination and fantasy, while experiencing an intensive creative process enriched by discussions, talks and presentations. The participation in the Prague Quadrennial is one of the most important parts of the stage design studies at the Latvian Academy of Art. The Latvian student exhibition includes student work from the first to the fifth year of the program.
