Presentations by Design Students PQ07
The joint Dutch presentation in the student pavilion In consultation with the 4 schools, no longer is the scale-model the key-element of the exhibition but scenography expressed by means of an installation / performance enters into a dialogue with the visitor. In this project scenography is the focus, but not without any foundation in dramaturgy. Actors, performers as well as technology and the new media will be important sources that lead to the [final] result for Prague. Performances As a second part, 4 performances will be created and presented in the Scenofest theatre. Here once more scenography prevails ... but of course performers /actors/ or designers will be able to participate in the performance themselves. No strict themes have been laid down and each academy develops its own concept. The performances will jointly be presented on one or two consecutive days and have amaximum time of 20 minutes. Stage Costumes Stage costume training at the Academie voor Beeldende Kusten Maastricht is collaborating with schools from London, Barcelona, Madrid and Singapore in developing a stage costume project under the header: 4 Women x 4 Elements which will be presented in the theatre of Scenofest as one unit.
