Triwan - Student project

The costume includes two red wedding dresses. Red represents jubilation in Chinese culture, and the embroidery on it symbolizes the virtue of a woman in ancient times. We will walk in a specific way and perform some unique gestures during the march, to show the dynamic expression of Taiwanese Opera and to present its aesthetic value to the world.

Additional information: Taiwanese Opera Tribe: Dai Cai-Ru, Wu Ting Yun, Hsieh Meng Chi We are from Taiwan, all studying at the Taipei National University of the Arts, and major in Theatre Design. Cai-Ru Dai began learning Taiwanese Opera at the age of twelve. Interested in this traditional culture, we get together and try our best to spread the spirit and the beauty of Taiwanese Opera.
