Canada/USA Inspired by the Patria Series by R. Murray Schafer, this object’s ontological state is theatre. The materiál is characterized by a confluence of stories, brought together through motion to express its narrative past. It rolls along or sits static in performance. It has no end. Designed and built by me, it premiered in April 2011 as part of Montreal’s Reality.

Additional information: Born and raised in Canada andnow based in LA, Lorne studied theatre design in Montreal, CA and Art and Technology in Aalborg, DK. He works alone and in collaboration, creating bold and obscure theatre works, objets d’art and performative installations.
