Hummelmania

The Netherlands/United Kingdom 5 rubberband creatures are typewriting their days away while their boss wastes his time on megalomanic power tripping and lonesome despair. Linking to traditional folk art using everyday objects for costumes, this performance questions office culture in a playfull manner. It's been shown at Robert Wilson's Watermill Center (NY).

Additional information: Mette ‘s work deals with the grotesque body; by creating sculptural costumes, she blurs the borders of animism, nature and artifice. She graduated with an MA from Central Saint Martins (2014) and has worked in New York, Milan, London, Basel and Amsterdam.
