Following the main topic of the PQ '99 "Theatre Architecture for the 3rd Millenium" Yugoslavia is representing two projects in the field of architecture of the performing areas: A - Creative workshop led by dr. Branko Pavič, professor at the Faculty of Architecture in Belgrade. The results of the workshop are presented at the PQ and supported by a publication. The workshop managed to gather young architects, artists and students of arts up to 40 years of age, who were selected through open competition and by invitation. Convinced that alternative approach to the subject and evaluation of projects representing a step forward towards understanding and reception of spatial articulation of theatre events, comply with the main exhibition idea. B - A separate publication represents a summary of the architectural projects in Yugoslavia in the field of performing arts in the 90's or, more precisely, from 1991 when Yugoslavia had the last display at PQ.
