The largest part of the production of new theatres after PQ '95 was the realization of M. Melena's projects for Prague, Brno and Sokolov. They aim for the closest possible contact between the audience and stage, but also among the audience itself. - The current popularity of the musical allowed the creation of new designs for this genre: the most individual creations belonging to J. Pizinger. - Elegant forms and necessary flexibility are characteristic of the designs of K. Hubáček and J. Hakulín for Studio theatre DISK. - J. Smetana's design of the variable multimedia dome Estrella in Berlin is one of the brightest as-yet unrealized projects.
