Turkey

Turkish designers in stage arts will take place for the first time in such an activity. Their theatrical thinking is at tho crossroads of all global geographies and cultures. There is a "gap" in the process in which the humans change the world by defining itself and the world. Turkey designers propose to fill this gap by figures, action, sound, colors, lights and players. Professional stago design of designers who blend these materials on their native ground - decor, puppet, costumo - exhibits brilliant samples of the ongoing practice in Turkey.

Education: Mimar Sinan Fine Arts Univ. Dept. of Stage and Costume Design; M.A. in History of Art from the Bosphorus University
Collaboration with theatres: TRT-Turkish National Television Company
Teaching activities: Taught Film and Set Design for TV in the Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University  for five years.
