Additional information: The Motus group was established in 1991 in Rimini by Enriko Casagredo and Daniela Nicoló. Nevertheless, their artistic co-operation started earlier in Urbino, in the atmos-phere of the Atarassia University theatre group. Special char-acter of the Motus artistic expression consists in its specific dramaturgy hand and stage conception of space. Enrico Casagrande focuses on the stage image of the performance and Daniela Nicoló on the script. Both then perform in the play as actors. The Motus group performs not only in Italy, but in Europe, and often pit their strength against famous lit-erary works (starting with Camus and ending up with Christa Wolf). They often stage their performances in spaces not originally intended for staging of theatre plays. The group was awarded a number of theatre awards and organised many workshops linked to preparation of new stagings.
