BERNARDO TRUMPER Edith del Campo: "He included us into his dreams... and in some way, we follow him in his walking road." BERNARDO TRUMPER Main Chilean Stage and lighting Designer Vice-President of the OISTAT General Committee (1994 -1997) President of the Chilean Centre of the OISTAT (1987 -1993) This "Homage to Scenography" is my personal tribute to BERNARDO TRUMPER (1927 -1997) as the main Chilean stage and lighting designer. He was a teacher to almost all of us at the School of Theatre Design in the University of Chile - the only one of this artistic disciplině in the whole country. His first work was for Volpone by Ben Johnson in 1950 at the University of Chile Theatre Company, designing the stage and lighting. Many of his early designs were for the most important Chilean theatre groups. Through the passing of time, he became an important academie professor of this discipline, which he took as his personal mission.
