The National exhibition offers the works of leading Belarusian stage directors, discovers and accentuates the main style trends and shows the initiation and development of new ideas in the creation of the dramatic atmosphere of the performance. The search for new solutions and new dynamic methods in scenography and the rearrangement of the specific constructive task depending on the stage director's decision presents great interest even though they often happen to be absurd and unexpected. It implies the combination of acute contemporary life feeling and deep respect to classical traditions, the way of expressing the artisťs personal micro-world existing according to the laws which are far beyond the plot of the play.
