Art and Interaction - or Schools The PQ offered its exhibition area to schools of scenography in 1979 for the very first time. The school exposition became part of the PQ that was impossible to miss and brought life to the exhibition at the same time. In 1991, the jury officially acknowledged schools, even though the exposition award status does not include them in. Because the school expositions were successful, OISTAT and its Education Committee became interested in this matter and began giving its helping hand to the organisation and assistance to student participation. It is nice to see that with every new PQ, the number of participating schools has increased, as well as the number of interested visitors. For many schools, an organised participation at the PQ became a methodical part of a long-term education curriculum. Today, pedagogues whose career began with the presentation of their works within the school exhibition many years ago, come here with their students. Under the banner "Art and Interaction!" the PQ 03 offers a concept following this tradition. This PQ provides schools with an opportunity to exhibit in the traditional section of the schools as woll as in tho nowly conceived programme - OISTAT SCENOFEST.
