Additional information: He studied scenography at VŠMU Bratislava. He has held residencies in Paris and Rome, participated in several scenography workshops and 11 individual and 23 collective exhibitions. As a stage and costume designer he co-oper-ated on nearly a hundred drama, ballet and opera stagings. He regularly co-operated with a number of Czech and Slovak stage directors, e.g. Petr Lébl, Jiň Pokorný, Vladimír Morávek. Since 1998 he was Assistant Professor at the VŠUM Bratis-lava. He was awarded Slovak annual Doska Award in 1996, 1997, 2000 and 2001 as an appreciation of his work, as well as the Alfréd Radok Award 2000 and the Slovenský literární fond Award. He received Silver Medal at the International Scenography Triennial, Novi Sad 2001

He studied at the High School of Applied Art in Bratislava, prof. Rudolf Fila, and graduated from the VŠMU, Depart-ment of Set Design, prof. Ladislav Vychodil. During 1988-1992 he worked as a set designer at the Jozef Tajovský Theatre in Bánská Bystrica. Since 1992 he worked as a lecturer at the Department of Set Design at the Faculty of Puppet Theatre and Drama of VŠMU. He worked for different theatres in Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary, and he also designed graphic art and jewellery. He published essays, studies and critics in various theatrical and cultural magazines in Slovakia and in the Czech Republic.
