Additional information: Born in 1932 in Tulcea. In 1957 graduated from tne Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture. He was assistant at this institute and at present acts as lecturer there. He has taken part in numerous competitions referring to architecture, and has been awarded several prizes nad honourable mentions, e.g. in the competitions for the National Theatre (Craiova), for the completion of the Union Square (Iasi), for the town centre of Ploesti, for the town centre of Timisoara, for the Bucharest National Theatre, for the completion of the Bucharest Union Square. He has published the book „Technical Design in Architecture". He is preparing his doctor's thesis on The Contemporary Theatre. His most important projects are the Gymnasium in Constanta, the RSR Palace Hall, the Grozavesti Students' Hostel and tne Hostel of Semanatoarea in Bucharest with a capacity of two thousand students each, the Intercontinental Hotel in Bucharest, the underground parking place with a capacity of ohne thousand cars in Bucharest, a block of offices for the Ministry of Chemical Industry in Bucharest, the National Theatre in Bucharest and the like.
Obrázky z kataloguAdditional information: Born in 1922 in Sinaia. Graduated from the Ion Mincu Institute of Architecture in Bucharest. In 1966 he was awarded the First Prize of Stage Design. He participated in several collective stage design exhibitions at home /1964, 1967/ as well as abroad /Poland, Greece, France, Italy, Cuba, Switzerland, Yugoslavia/. His most important works are stage designs to plays by A. P. Chekhov, W. Shakespeare, G. Buchner, O. Wilde, G. B. Shaw, E. O'Neill, M. Gorki, T. Williams, G. Osborne, E. Ionesco, A. Miller, V. Alecsandri, AI. Davila, E. Oproiu, H. Lovinescu, H.M. Sebastian and others. He concerns himself also with architecture, theatrical technique, exhibitions, furniture, industrial design and publications. He has lectured at the N. Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest on stage design /1964-1969/ and on industrial design /1970-1971/. He designed settings to six feature films. He has been awarded the title Artist of Merit of the RSR. He participated at the Prague Quadrennial in 1971.

In 1967, 1968 and 1969 he took part in numerous exhibitions of graphic arts. In 1965 and 1967 he was awarded a prize and an honourable mention at the National Competition of Architecture and Town Planning. His most important works in the line of stage design are sets to plays by V. I. Popa, D. R. Popescu, Alexandru Popescu, B. Nusici, Sherwood Anderson etc. In a collaboration with the graphic artists Florica Mälureanu and Sindor Szilāgy he has designed numerous theatre posters. In a collaboration with the architects C. Ciobanu and K. Bartha he designed in 1969 within the architectural domain the project to the Cultural House of Sf. Gheorghe. At present he is at work as stage designer of the State Theatre in Tirgu-Mures.
Obrázky z kataloguAdditional information: Born in 1908 at Rimnicu-Vilcea. Being a specialist in electro-acoustics and architectural problems he studied at the Polytechnic Institute. He has published The Bases of the Acoustics of Buildings (Academie Publishing House), The Electro-Acoustics in Sound Effect (Technical Publishing House) as well as several expert articles in various Rumanian and foreign reviews. As head of a team or as a consultant he has participated in the realization of projects regarding the electro-acoustics and sound effects to the following theatrical halls: U. G. S. R., Ion Vasilescu, Comedy Theatre, National Theatre — the comedy hall (all of them being in Bucharest); furthermore in the realization of the Houses of Culture at Iasi and Bacau, of the National Theatre at Craiova, of various cinema halls in Bucharest, and of a number of concert halls as well as polyvalent ones, of the Bucharest Central Film and Broadcasting Studios. He has been awarded the State Prize and the Three Class Work Order as well as other distinctions. He is a member of the editorial staff of the review Telecommunications, and a member of the Acoustics Commission of the Rumanian Academy of Sciences.

Obrázky z kataloguAdditional information: Born in 1935 at Roman. Graduated from the Faculty of Energetics of the Polytechnic Institute in Bucharest. Ten years ago he started work at the television studio and engaged in problems of lighting engineering. He took part as collaborator in a number of telecasted theatrical performances and in artistic as well as documentary films. He has designed all installations of the International Festivals in Brasov. He collaborated in the project and realization of the lighting equipment at the Bucharest Television Centre. He initiated and brought into effect the first Sound and Light Shows. He is the author of more than thirty articles and studies on the set of problems referring to the TV lighting engineering as well as to theatre and film illumination. He is concerning himself in an important manner with publication activities on dramatic art and theatrical aesthetics within the scope of expert reviews and periodicals. At present he is at work as lighting engineer at the television studio.

He is co-operating in serval projects alike the Museum of the Party History, a complex of special houses, etc.

For her graduate project Tlhe Town Borsec — A Health Resort and Tourism Centre, she obtained the best note. At present she is at work as architect of the Project Bucharest Institute. Her most important works are the projects to the systematic completion of the place of tourism of Snagov, the systematic completion of the N. Balcescu Square in Bucharest, an underground parking place with a capacity of one thousand cars, a subway passage for passers-by with shops and cafés, the National Theatre in Bucharest (as co-author of annexes), a department store in the Union Square in Bucharest and many others.
