Additional information: Born in 1930 at Fãlticeni. Studied stage design at the N. Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest, and made his debut in 1957. He is a Laureate of the Second and the Fourth National Competetion for Young Actors, Stage Directors and Scenic Designers held in 1957 and 1962 respectively, as well as the Laureate af the Drama Festival in 1958. He has participated in a number of stage-design exhibitions in Poland, Greece, France, Čuba, Italy, Switzerland and in Yugoslavia. His most important designs are stage sets to the plays The Killer Without Pay, Rhinoceros and The Chairs by E. Ionesco, A Man's a Man and The Caucasian Chalk Circle by B. Brecht, Othello, The Merry Wives of Windsor and Richard II (costumes] by W. Shakespeare, Cher Antoine and The Lark by J. Anouilh, and to plays by 0'Neill, Rostand, Moliēre, Musset. He has also designed sets to several Rumanian plays by Eugen Barbu, Alexandru Popescu, Mihai Sebastian, and others. He organized one man expositions, and that in 1968 under the heading Stage Design and Graphic Arts, and in 1970 under the heading In the Garden of Urmuz (designs).

Additional information: Born in 1926, he studied stage design at the N.Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts in Bucharest, where he later became a professor. He is a laureate of the lst and Ilnd National Competition of Young Actors, Directors end Stage Designers, which were organised in 1954 and 1957. Since 1962 he works as a stage designer at the Nationd Theatre in Bucharest. He has designed the sets and costumes for more than 200 productions in Bucharest and in other Rumanian cities. Among his foremost designs are those for productions of W. Shakespeare' s Othello and King Lear, Molière' s The Miser and Tartuffe, Lope de Vega' s The Gardener' s Dog, Dostoyevski´s The Idiot, Wilder' s Our Town, Feuchtwanger 's The Devil in Boston end also for productions of plays by both classical and contemporary Rumanian playwrights, such as V. Alecsandri, B.P. Haşden, I.L. Caragiale, Horia Lovinescu, V. Eftimiu and P. Anghel. He participeted in stage design exhibitions in Novi Sad where Rumanian stage designers obtained a Bronze Medal and in the Prague Quadrennial in 1971 and in 1975.

Additional information: Born in 1933 in Constanta. Studied at the N. Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts. Since 1958 ne is at work as scenic designer, special line of costume desing, at the National Theatre in Cluj. In 1968 he made a three monts' educational trip to the Federal Republic of Germany. He has participated in a number of scenic desing exhibitions in Bucharest and Cluj. He has been at work as graphic artist (theatre posters), too. His most important works are costume designs for the protagonists of plays by Pirandello, Machiavelli, Shakespeare and so on. At present he acts as stage designer of the National Theatre in Cluj.

He was awarded an Honourable Mention at the Festival of National Drama in 1969, and that for his scenic design to The Exercises by T. Deak having been produced at the State Theatre in Botosani. His most important designs are the stage sets to Rigoletto by G. Verdi, Chiajna by I. Luca, Romeo and Juliet by W. Shakespeare / S. Prokofiev etc.

Shakespeare, Danton´s Death, Leonce and Lena, Woyzeck by G. Büchner having been produced at the L. S. Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest and at the Theatre for Young People (Piatra-Neamt). Since 1969 she has designed costumes to the same plays also for various theatres in the Federal Republic of Germany, and in addition to that for a West German theatre the costumes to Volpone by B. Jonson. Today she is at work at the L. S. Bulandra Theatre in Bucharest.

He has participated in a number of exhibitions in Rumania (1948, 1950, 1963, 1967 etc.) as well as abroad: in Yugoslavia, Greece, France etc. He has been awarded some prizes, among others in 1967 for stage sets to a play by A. Popovici, having been staged at the Teatrul Tineretului in Piatra- Neamt, and in 1969 for sets to the play Maria 1714 by I. Páunescu, havig been staged at the Teatrul Mic in Bucharest; the two prizes have been conferred to nim at the Rumanian Festival of National Drama. He engages also in graphic art (theatre posters), architectural decoration, painting and the like.His most important works are stage and costume designs to the plays King Oedipus and Lower Depths (CraiovaNationalTheatre),Maria 1714 by Ilie Páunescu and A Memory of Two Mondays by A. Miller (Teatrul Mic in Bucharest), and stage sets to the plays Petru Rareş by Horia Lovinescu (State Theatre in Tirgu-Mureş) and Love's Labouťs Lost by W. Shakespeare (Teatrul Mic in Bucharest). He is at work as scenic designer at the Teatrul Mic in Bucharest.

Additional information: Studied architecture at the College of Technology in Bucharest. She took part in some exhibitions of graphic arts (1961) and of scenic design (1964 and 1966). She is at work as scenic designer at the TV Studio, the Animafilm and at various theatres. Her most important designs are stage sets to plays by Shakespeare (Othello), Moliēre (The Impromptu of Versailles), Ionesco (The New Tenant), Wilde (An Ideal Husband), Důrrenmatt (An Autumn Party), Pirandello (Six Characters in Search of an Author), Faulkner (The Smoke), Caragiale (A Stormy Night), Oproiu (I Am Not the Eiffel Tower) and to many others. She concerns herself also with graphic arts (theatre posters and book illustrations).
Is a known name in the contemporary Rumanian scenography. She has received an Award in 1994 for her excellent activity. Numerous exhibitions in Rumania and abroad (Paris, Monte Carlo, London) known as well as fashion designer.
In 1983, 1987, 1991 and 1995, she participated in the PQ.

Additional information: Born in 1938 in Bucharest. Graduated from the N. Grigorescu Institute of Fine Arts, special line of scenic design. She has participated in collective exhibitions, as the PQ 1967 and 1971. In 1970 she was awarded a prize by the Union of Plastic and Graphic Artists for her scenic design to the play Iona by Marin Sorescu, having been staged at the Teatrul Mic in Bucharest.Her most important designs are stage sets to the plays Macbeth and King Lear by W. Shakespeare, The Coffee-House /La bottega del caffé/ by C. Goldoni, Becket by J. Anouilh, Iona by M.Sorescu and The Royal Hunt of the Sun by P. Shaffer. She designed the last-named setting for a Belgrade Theatre. At present she acts as stage designer of the State Theatre in Ploešti. She participated at the Prague Quadrennial in 1971.
