The romanesque popular theatre is an itinerant group which has no permanent hall to its disposal. Therefore its stage designs are designed only for tours and have to accomplish all the conditions resulting from this kind of work: the easiness and mobility enabling a quick construction and holding and a maximal saving of space.

Additional information: Born in 1941 in Montreal, of Swiss and Canadian origin. Studied at the Canadian National Theatre School stage and costume design. She designed the stage sets and costumes for Brechťs Mr. Puntila. For 3 seasons she worked as stage manager at the Shakespeare Festival in Stratford-Ontario (Comedy of Errors), later as assistant designer (King Lear, Julius Caesar). She worked for the Theatre of the New World, for the Grand Canadian Ballet and the Egregore Theatre in Montreal. For one season she worked as chief costume designer at the Banff School of Fine Arts. She has been working in Switzerland since 1965.
