Additional information: Bor in Zurich in 1916. At the age of 12 he built his own puppet theatre. At 17 apprenticed to stage designing with the Zurich Municipal Theatre, in 1936 after studying for one year at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich he was appointed stage designer to the Basle Municipal Theatre, the main field of his activities until his death in 1956. Other actives: Guest appointments to Swiss and foreign stages, festival performances, film settings, design for stages and theatre buildings.
Additional information: Born in 1941 in Geneva, Switzerland, where he graduated from the School of Arts. Stage designér, director and chief designer of the theater in Carouge, co-worker of many West German theaters. From among his most significant stage designs for the theater in Carouge we should mention at least 0'Casey's Cock-a-Doodla Dandy in the open-air theater (1963), Gorki´s The Friemies (1964), Brechťs Schweik in World War II (1965), Goldoni´s Rosaura (1966) and Ostrovski´s Passionate Heart (1967).
