From Past to Future
Turkey is presenting three projects in the field of theatre architecture. Two of these are projects for two theatre buildings; one very recently finished and opened, the other still under construction. The third project is an exhibition of 2Dreconstructions of historical Istanbul theatres, which are to agreat extent disappearing. The project designer is educated as a stage designer, and has devoted the last years of her career researching the historical buildings of Istanbul.
