International Exhibition of Stage Design and Theatre Architecture – Prague Quadrennial '71

PQ 71 was held under the auspices of the Minister of Culture of the Czech Socialist Republic Miroslav Brůžek, and the Minister of Culture of the Slovak Socialist Republic Miroslav Válek.

Installation materials: Standardized panels with white and mahogany wallpaper and own light source (borrowed from Výstavnictví a Made In), stage lights, spotlights and lighting (on loan from Brněnské veletrhy), mannequins, carousels, slide projectors. The pedestals under the mock-ups are constructed of connecting rods, painted white. A central visual placard placed in the entry hall to the Brussels pavilion.

Estimated number of visitors: more than 12,000

Tentative budget: 3.5 million Czechoslovak crowns
