The first Prague Quadrennial took place in 1967 in the “Brussels Pavilion” brought back to Prague from Expo 58 in Brussels.
Competing for the main price, the Golden Triga, were 327 scenographers from
20 countries.
The non-competitive honorary exposition hall was dedicated to the Czechoslovak laureates from the international Biennale in Sao Paolo, living and working legends, and trailblazers of modern Czech scenography.
The PQ 67 Golden Triga went to the exposition from France.
